Yeah, you heard me. For some reason I haven't been procrastinating all this weekend. I've actually been, y'know, getting things done. I've cleaned up more of my room, finished a few books, done lots of research on mythology (a growing passion of mine), done SCHOOL, practiced my three main musical instruments, started teaching myself to COOK (yum yum brownies)... and all this was between ballet rehearsals. Plus I've managed to keep on track (somewhat) with my vlogging and I just (FINALLY) beat the epic Japanese game Cave Story. Not to mention I've still found time to watch some anime.
How am I doing this, you ask? How have I beaten back the horde of procrastination demons?
Let me think about it and I'll get back to you.
Seriously, I have no idea how I've gotten this much done. I mean, this is more than I've ever done in my entire LIFE. At this rate, I'll actually finish my school year on time, meet my reading goal in August, master the dreaded On Fire on the piano and Black Balloon on the guitar, and be cooking souffles by the end of the year. Needless to say, this isn't going to last long.
Mark my words, next week I'll be lazing around doing absolutely nothing as the clutter regrows in my room and the blisters on my fingers fade from ill use. My ability to make even a somewhat edible fried egg will fade, and I'll be back to the good old Persy you all know and don't really love.
Meh, that doesn't really sound appealing. I'm so industrious that the prospect of nothing doesn't even appeal to me. Or maybe that means I'm not industrious enough?
Oh well. It's not like I'm not stressing out about other stuff. At least with school, you can actually do the work and not have to worry about it anymore. My real problem is ballet and my infamous sprained ankle. It's not getting better very quickly. Spring performance in May. Two dances en pointe. Haven't touched a pointe shoe since September. Won't touch a pointe shoe for at least another few weeks.
This sounds like fun.
